James: I received a call from Michelle and Amber today. Michelle, the President of In His Hands, realized after we decided it would be good for me to go to Kenya as soon as possible, that she had not really put the situation to prayer. She prayed, took it to the Board, and they all agreed that having me go before knowing when my family can go is not a good idea. In the event that funding for them is delayed, and I need to return, it would send a negative message to the Kenyans, especially after introducing me as the new Director of Kenyan Operations.
I will push off my departure until we know the rest of the family can come. It is likely that by that time, the Class I permit will be approved, allowing us permission to be there longer than a standard visa.
This delay will also allow me to earn some more money cutting trees to leave things in firmer financial shape. This week, we are getting Garrison’s mobile mechanic business started. It is called “Fixing To Run LLC” and he has a great logo! William is really coming along with being ready to take over the tree business.
YOU CAN HELP
Diana: Our family is preparing to go to Kenya as missionaries to serve orphans, but we need your help to make it possible. The opportunity to bring hope, love, and support to these children is before us, yet the financial resources required for travel and ministry remain a challenge. We are committed to this mission, and with your support, we can make a lasting impact in their lives.
Y’HUAH is moving people to support us through prayer and giving. Those gifts will cover travel expenses, accommodations, and essential supplies for our work with the orphans. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to fulfilling this calling. Your generosity will help us reach these children, provide for their needs, and share the love and care they desperately need.
Join us in this mission by giving today. Your support will not only help us reach Kenya but will also bring hope to children who need it most. Partner with us in changing lives—one child at a time. Please keep up the prayers!
