It seems there is momentum, and direction is still a step at a time. For now, the tree business is picking up, and I am trying to get my equipment all running.
Michelle and a supporter are in Kenya, and sending good videos back on the InHisHands FB page. I’ve worked with Boaz, the Electrical Engineer, to review the solar designs. Boaz and the engineers are pretty sharp, and good communicators in English.
Here are some good recent photos. The white building is the bath house. It is the building closest to completion, and was just painted.
The 4 story building is the dorm, six rooms per floor, up to 12 people per room. The roof will be a play area, maybe have picnic tables up there. We are thinking the top floor rooms will not be residence, but classrooms. God will show us.
The large room in the video is the dining hall, which will be multi-purpose. Most of the floors are terrazzo, which I really like! Our residence will be above the dining hall.
We just discovered that the water tower is almost finished. There are actually two, a small one at the bottom of the hill at the well (called a bore hole), and a large one at the top of the hill.
The facility is getting closer to completion, and there is much to do to set up and prepare for the children. People will need to be hired, trained, logistics established, community relationships built, SO MUCH, and though I have vision, I will need a team. YHWH will provide. I am certain because HE is ALWAYS faithful.
